Capella Systems returns to NAB with an in-person exhibit at Stand W3809 at Las Vegas Convention Center April 16 to April 19, 2023. Capella will be demonstrating the latest versions of Cambria FTC, Cambria Cluster, and Cambria Packager. Cambria FTC is a scalable, universal transcoder handling both VOD content. Cambria Cluster is a management tool for high-volume transcoding jobs running across many cloud instances. And Cambria Packager handles live encoding, ad insertion, encryption, and packaging for the most demanding live events. Capella’s products run on Akamai Connected Cloud, a massively distributed edge and cloud platform. Users can deploy and scale using Akamai’s cloud computing services, all controlled by Cambria Cluster via Docker and Kubernetes integrations.
“We are excited to bring our transcoding and packaging service to Akamai, delivering a high-performance platform that is flexible, scalable and cost-effective” says Ikuyo Yamada, CEO/Founder of Capella Systems.
“Many of our customers are looking for a way to process their media content in the cloud. Capella’s products help our customers with their most complex media workflows, and we are happy to have Capella as a Qualified Computing Partner running on Akamai Connected Cloud” says Matt Berk, Vice President, Cloud Computing at Akamai.
Cambria products support cloud-based GPU acceleration for high-volume transcoding at much faster than real time. Capella’s Cambria products also have a web-based user interface, making it easy to operate and manage transcoding and packaging engines in the cloud.
